Employment
Overview
Being
a Knowledge Institute associate requires a "special
breed" of person. Our employment programs are based upon
the expectation of a long-term relationship. Development
programs, career programs, benefits and recognition programs
are all designed with the assumption that you will choose to
build a career with The Knowledge Institute. The expected role
of the associate is business results, client relationships,
professional profile, and marketability.
Businesses
are increasingly taking pains to ensure that employees follow
not only the letter of the law, but its spirit as well.
Compliance with laws and regulations is the bare minimum of
what business ethics and conduct is all about. Business ethics
and conduct revolve more values and principles, and help
define what you stand for as an organization (and as an
individual) when you make decisions. Our employees know that
ethics are important to our organization and that they can
depend on management when they try to make the right
decisions. All employees regardless of position are expected
and required to maintain the highest ethical standards at all
times.
Employment
Policies
Professional
The Knowledge institute believes that work conditions, wages,
and benefits it offers to its employees are competitive with
those offered by other employers in the area and in this
industry. If employees have concerns about conditions and
compensation, they are strongly encouraged to voice these
concerns openly directly to their supervisors. Our experience
has shown that when employees deal openly and directly with
supervisors, the work environment can be excellent,
communications can be clear, and attitudes can be positive. We
believe that The Knowledge Institute amply demonstrates its
commitment to employees by responding effectively to employee
concerns.
In
order to provide equal employment and advancement
opportunities to all individuals, employment decisions at The
Knowledge Institute will be based upon merit, qualifications,
and abilities. The Knowledge Institute does not discriminate
in employment opportunities or practices on the basis of race,
color, sex, national origin, age, or any other characteristic
protected by law. This policy governs all aspects of
employment, including selection, job assignment, compensation,
discipline, termination, and access to benefits and training
